- February 23, 2008 - The National Clean Energy Summit was held in
Washington, DC this week and we have a lot of people singing the Pickens Plan
song. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi
were there. So were former President Bill Clinton and former Vice President Al
Gore.
Two cabinet secretaries, business and labor leaders, and the heads of major
environmental and alternative energy groups were there.
Many of our partners also participated in the event including Owens Corning, AEP, the American Wind
Energy Association and others from business and industry. I've been saying right from the start: This
is not political and it is not partisan. It is American.
