Weight Training

As we age cardio exercises alone can’t help us preserve muscle mass. Resistance
training has the potential to improve muscle strength and endurance, enhance flexibility
and body composition, decrease risk factors for cardiovascular disease and improve
glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity. Weight training not only benefits metabolism,
it builds muscle and preserves bone mass. A well organized weight training should be
part of everyone’s fitness regime.
